Key mobile trends
With over 100 million mobile subscribers accessing internet via their mobile phones, India is a large market with pockets of potential accelerated growth. The rural market and the younger segments of the youth market is still open to first-movers, while the urban market is already showing a strong promise for data revenue. India is currently one of the top five countries in the world in terms of Facebook users and is set to become #1 in terms of total active users by 2015; a large part of them accessing the social media site on their mobile device.
